Elvileg az alma és a körte rokonok, bár Major Tamás szerint nem lehet őket összehasonlítani, de mintha olvastam volna, hogy almafát is használnak pl. fafaragásra. Tehát elméletileg jó kell legyen, viszont ajánlatos jól kiszárítani. Mert ha nem, esetleg csodálkozhatsz, honnan van fenékvíz a modellben.

Lesz szivattyú is! Beszéltem egy asztalossal, aki azt mondta: az almafa nem ipari fa, de gondolom, soha nem próbálta. Mindenesetre felszelem és szárítom egy jó ideig, azután majd jelentkezem az eredménnyel.

Hát az attól függ mekkora a hajó. Ha mondjuk a hossza 100mm akkor vastag, ha mondjuk 10m akkor kevés.

5-6-mm-es gerinc a 10m-es hajón? Egyébként is elég macerás lenne 10m-es makettet csinálni!
